Welcome to the home of the Office of the President at San Francisco State University.
Strategic Planning Update
Our shared sense of purpose is an undeniable institutional strength and it has helped San Francisco State to weather some challenging times. Our strategic planning effort provides the opportunity to revise and reaffirm our goals and directions for the future, while identifying several institutional-level objectives for growth and improvement over the short, medium and long term.
The Strategic Planning Coordinating Committee (SPCC) has recently posted reports from six theme subcomittees. Those reports can be found HERE and you are invited to comment on them at the bottom of each report . These reports will help form the basis of a draft strategic plan that the SPCC will share with the campus in the fall. The goal is to collect feedback on the draft plan in the early months of the fall semester in order to have a new startegic plan in place before the new year. If you have not already done so, please visit the planning.sfsu.edu site and provide your feedback on the draft reports.
