Katie Lynch

Katie Lynch, Ed.D., joins SF State as Senior Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management as of February 1, 2021. In this role, she oversees the enrollment management team in their efforts to recruit, retain and provide service to students. This includes admissions and recruitment, financial aid, educational opportunity and pathway programs, and the registrar’s office.

Lynch most recently served as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management at the University of Massachusetts Boston. In that role, she directly oversaw the financial aid office and the university’s One Stop student service center. She also provided leadership on numerous recruitment and retention initiatives. Prior to that, she served in a number of roles within financial aid offices at colleges and universities in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Lynch earned a B.A. in English from Eastern Connecticut State University, an M.S. in Counseling/Student Development in Higher Education from Central Connecticut State University and her doctorate in education from Northeastern University.
